WESMEN GETS GOLD IN THE BRANDON TOURNAMENT.
Okay, so as you can probably tell, I am pretty pumped about these weekends events. This isn't the first time this season that we have placed in a tournament but this is the first time that we got first! Holy crap, I was getting a rush from the energy in the room. It was crazy. Out there on the court, making the amazing plays and cheering with your teammates and coaches and fans. BEST FEELING EVER. I was put in for setter for the first set and we dominated. We got an early lead of 17-9 but they started catching up. We shut the door with some unreal plays and ended the set at 20-25.
The energy on that court was insane. No ball was hitting the floor without at least three athletes going down with it. There were some amazing hits and spectacular digs. The blocking was so good that the setters had to work super hard to get their hitters from being stuffed. Overall, this was the best game I had ever played, and it felt so good.
